The open call for the Parallel Programme is open from 26 February to 17 May 2026
The programme of Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale consists of the main exhibitions and the Parallel Programme. Propose your own event to become part of the programme.
Events selected through the open call will be included in the official Biennale programme and will receive visibility through the Biennale’s marketing and communications channels. Organise a poetry evening or a dinner under the summer sky, open the doors to your studio, or host a ceramics workshop.
Participation fee
€75 (+ VAT 25.5%): organisations or operators with 1–2 employees
€250 (+ VAT 25.5%): organisations or operators with more than two employees
Application process
Concept
Would you like to present your latest works, or are you dreaming of hosting a dinner or an open-air film screening under the summer sky? Write a short concept description and begin planning your event in more detail.
Production
Find a suitable venue for your event in Fiskars Village or its surrounding area. Plan your funding and confirm the dates.
Complete the application form (will be posted on this page on 26 February). Please be prepared to provide the requested information in three languages: Finnish, Swedish and English. The form will also ask you to upload an image suitable for marketing purposes and provide your invoicing details.
Communications
If approved, your event will be listed as part of the official programme on the Fiskars Village Art & Design Biennale website. Your event will also be promoted through the Biennale’s social media channels.
It is therefore important that the images and texts you provide are high-quality, informative and cleared for publication. Please upload a vertical image for social media purposes and a horizontal image for the website.
